A rainy day.....

After a sudden KS spring shower, I decided to take a walk on the freshly dampened sidewalks, and smell the wonderful scent of rain! No shampoo or lotion can recreate that smell! What a refreshing time I had.....

Good Friday

 O sacred Head, now wounded, with grief and shame weighed down,

Now scornfully surrounded with thorns, Thine only crown;

 O sacred Head, what glory, what bliss till now was Thine!

Yet, though despised and gory, I joy to call Thee mine.
