Excitement!

This week I decided to get an Aloe Vera plant.
I have read in a few different places about the absolute goodness of Aloe Vera.
So, I wanted to get one.
Last night, I was even thinking about when I should get one.
Remember, when I get or do something important, it has to be on or during an important time.
This morning, my Mom went to a garage sale.
And what do you think was at that garage sale???

A $2.00 Aloe Vera plant that my Dad thinks is about 15 years old!!!
A cause of MAJOR excitement on my part!

Isn't it beeautiful!

Juicy leaves full of nourishing gel!

Uncle Bob and Aunt Glenda | Wedding

About a month ago, our family enjoyed a trip to Texas for our uncle's wedding.
Bob and Glenda Flickner were wed on July 17, 2010 in Frisco, TX.
Although I was the pianist, I also got to take a few photos (if 100+ photos is a few!!!)
It was a beautiful wedding and, I am so glad we got to attend it! Lots of Love to the Newlyweds!

Hot Air Balloon

A few months ago, there was a hot air balloon tethered at a soccer field a few blocks away from our house. Bethany College had hired a hot air balloon for the students, but we were still able to watch from about 200 feet away.
Since it was about 10 PM, the gas in the balloon shone brightly!
The colors on the outside of the balloon were beautiful against the dark night.

Have you ever gone in a hot air balloon?
