Welcome 2012!

Happy New Year, everyone!
I'm gonna start out with a statement.
..........Wait for it.........
I'm so grateful God designed light.

I shall now explain myself. (I'm feeling very philosophically inclined presently)

Well, first of all, photography would be pretty bland without it.
But, when reading in Genesis 1 today, it came to me, through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, that God gave us light to mark the seasons, sacred times, days, years (Gen. 1:14-15)
Years are marked by the counting of days, the changing of the seasons.
We know spring is around the corner when the days get warmer, green starts to arrive, and the closets are calling your name...."Clean me out!"
We also know that depending on wear you live, March/April is the calendar month that will welcome Spring.
This New Year is marked by the ending of calendar year 2011 (which I will really miss....writing two-zero-one-one was SO could kinda slur the ones together), and the turning of the page to 2012.

I'm excited about what the Lord has planned in my life for this New Year.
What a beautiful time in history to be alive.

Happy New Year!

My beautiful watch which I received for Christmas from my parents, made the perfect macro New Year shot.
